    Good point…………..
I tried Smidge, for the first time, at the weekend when walking over the South Glen Shiel Ridge. It does what it says…………..the midge land on you, have a sniff around, and then fly off. The only bites I received were when my skin was exposed prior to application.

    Bad point…………..
Smidge has turned out to be extortionate because two days of walking equalled one 75ml can. Why? Because the pump-spray top was loose and unscrewed in my daypack, emptying the contents all over my other gear! It’s just as well that it doesn’t have the same rotting qualities of Deet!

I am not a happy bunny!

Smidge is wonderful!!! after a week in midge ridden Badachro - only about 4 bites in total. Usually I am eaten alive, what a difference Smidge makes. I had to leave it behind for next guests as so successful.
Can I buy now to be prepared for next year - what is its shelf life?

Hi, just to let you know that the Smidge shelf life is 2 years, so if you would like to stock up for next year, that wouldn’t be a problem. On the pump-spray coming loose, this may happen if the top cap is twisted rather than pulled off but it is being addressed for 2011

Excellent point…………a follow up to my previous comment.

Had an extremely prompt, helpful and positive, reply to my comment about the top unscrewing and I’d like to thank Dr Alison Blackwell for her help.

Smidge is now my repellent of choice……..highly recommended.
